Freshers Week will bring you volunteers

Here is a great tip from someone who has success at Freshers Weeks.

Turn up every year

It is good to attend for several years in a row as that way you will catch the second year and third year students who were too busy in their first year.

We have turned up every year for three years and each year we get more new recruits than the year before.

Remember that “repetition builds reputation”.If you turn up each year you will build on success.

Take some free "give-aways"

Take some pens and splash mats to give out. Students will keep pens with your charity mane printed on it and beer mats or coffee mats too. They cost you pence and they will bring in volunteers several weeks after you have left.
