Job Hunt and a charity volunteer
You can job hunt as a charity volunteer to get yourself ahead of other candidates. Here is a great link to many other ways to find employment to end your job hunt. You have to put yourself out there. You need to hit the pavement. Pick up the phone. Walk through charity doors. Be a volunteer. Let your local charity know that you are interested, available and willing. Many charities are looking for help in the office, raising money, out in the field, publicising their work and working with local agencies such as government. You can help in all of these areas. Just make sure they know that you also want payment as soon as a position becomes available.
